Join BCPS for a practical, full-day workshop designed to help development communicators move from ad-hoc messaging to strategic, measurable communications that advance organisational goals.

This session opens the BCPS 2026 Capacity Building Programme and is suitable for communications officers, programme managers, and senior leaders who shape how their organisations engage audiences and stakeholders.

Agenda overview

Morning (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM) — Foundations of strategic communications; case studies from Bangladesh's development sector; group exercise on audience segmentation.

Afternoon (1:30 PM – 5:00 PM) — Campaign design lab; facilitator feedback; action planning for participants' own organisations.

Who should attend

Communications professionals, NGO programme staff, and consultants working in development, humanitarian, or advocacy organisations. No prior formal communications training is required, though participants should bring a real communications challenge from their work.

Venue and logistics
