Capacity building programme launch
BCPS News

The Bangladesh Communications Professionals Society has announced its 2026 Capacity Building Programme — a coordinated series of workshops for NGO communicators, development practitioners, and freelance professionals across Bangladesh.

The programme responds to a growing demand for structured, evidence-based communications training in the development sector. While many organisations invest in programme delivery, communications capacity often remains under-resourced — limiting the reach and impact of development narratives.

What the programme covers

Sessions will address strategic communications planning, audience analysis, message framing, digital storytelling, and campaign measurement. Each workshop combines facilitated learning with practical exercises drawn from real development communications challenges.

  • Strategic communications foundations for NGOs
  • Evidence-based messaging and narrative design
  • Digital channels and community engagement
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and learning for communications

Locations and schedule

Workshops will take place in Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet between March and June 2026. BCPS members receive priority registration and discounted fees. Non-members may apply for open seats on a first-come basis.

The inaugural session — Strategic Communications for Development — opens the series in Dhaka on 15 March 2026.

How to register

Registration opens 20 February 2026. Interested participants should visit the Events page or contact the BCPS secretariat through our Contact form for group bookings from partner organisations.
